Aircraft of up to a maximum of 12 metric tonnes take-off mass (MTOM), rotary wing aircraft without weight limit, self-launching power gliders, gliders and non self-launching power gliders, winch and aero tow launches, parachutes, microlites and other manned aircraft which do not require a licence

Instrument approach:

A GPS approach procedure for Schönhagen is an integral part of Brandenburg State’s air traffic concept.  The relevant operational approval is currently at an advanced level in the authorization process.  However, this depends on numerous, separate approvals and procedures, e.g. from forestry legislation to obstruction clearance, verification of compatibility with the neighbouring conservation area, conformance with future BER procedures, and much more.  Therefore, it is not possible to give an exact date for its implementation.

Summer time:

From 08:00 until 20:30 local time (other times prior permission required - PPR)

Winter time:

From 08:00 to 19:00 local time (other times PPR)

Night-flights:

Up to 15 commercial passenger or freight flights per month are permitted between 22:00 and 06:00 local time

On request:

The last Saturday of the month is designated for night flights - until 23:00 local time.  Night flight instruction without PPR fee.  Please book no later than 18:00 local time via Tel. 033731/305-30.

From 15 April until 15 September.
Every Saturday and Sunday - take-offs and landings until 22:00 local time without additional PPR fees.
