AVIS have cars ready for you to rent in Schönhagen. These can also be booked one way, of course.
You can make reservations using our Service-Form or by telephoning: 033731/305-32.
For short trips locally, our own SMART is available under the following terms:
- Daily rate incl. 100 km mileage €42.00
Each further kilometre € 0.42
- Unlimited mileage/day €69.00
- Weekend tariff (Fri. 12:00 – Mon. 09:00) €85.00 incl. unlimited mileage
- ½ day rate incl. 100 km €31.00
- Weekly rate (7 days) incl. unlimited mileage €185.00 (additional day €27.00)
If our SMART is too small for you, we also have a BMW 1 Series:
- Daily rate incl. 100 km mileage €65.00
Each further kilometre € 0.52
- Unlimited mileage/day €85.00
- Weekend tariff (Fri. 12:00 – Mon. 09:00) €145.00
- ½ day rate incl. 100 km €46.00
- Weekly rate (7 days) incl. unlimited mileage €325.00 (additional day €47.00)
During the winter months both the SMART and the BMW 1 Series are fitted with winter tyres at no extra charge.
Should you need navigational assistance, a TOMTOM navigation system can be rented for an additional €7 per day.
All prices quoted include 19% VAT.
Unlike AVIS vehicles, the SMART/BMW must be handed back at the airport. Journeys abroad are not permitted.
The car must be handed back with a full tank of fuel.
The car has full comprehensive insurance with an excess amounting to €300.00 (3rd party, fire and theft €150.00). The person renting the car is liable for costs up to the extent of the excess amount where accidental damage is caused by his/her own fault or hit and run accidents.

As an AVIS partner we can offer you the choice between a simple vehicle class (e.g. VW Polo) and a luxury class vehicle, right up to a Porsche. We always keep the most reasonable vehicle category ready for you on site. If this is already rented out and our SMART/BMW is also out and about, we will organise the vehicle of your choice within 2 hours via the AVIS Service Station in Potsdam.

Of course, you can also book a rental car directly via AVIS. In this instance we would ask you to hire the car via the AVIS Potsdam office and always enter Schönhagen as the pick-up and return location. Link via www.avis.de.
If you would prefer to travel by taxi e.g. to Trebbin station, 7 km away (cost approx. €12.00), we will willingly arranged this in advance for you (033731 / 305-32). You can also book a taxi yourself with the PRESS taxi service by calling 033731 / 15 277. |
